Out With It
What's the deal with marriage equality?
In November 2025, the U.S. Supreme Court announced it would not take up the petition to revisit Obergefell v. Hodges. But is marriage equality actually safe? And what does this mean for the security of parent-child relationships? In this episode of "Out With It," we're taking a closer look at marriage equality — from some of the earliest landmark cases, to the recent resurgence in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, to the different ways you're able to protect your family (whether you're married or not). This episode is hosted by Luce Remy, Family Equality's Vice President of Public Policy, with special guests Mary Bonauto and Polly Crozier, two expert attorneys at GLAD Law.
